One of my very favorite pics from New Years Eve was a shot I snapped of my Mom.
I had to scrap it right away because getting pics of my Mom is no easy task.
She will be the first to tell you that she freezes whenever someone takes her picture...
BUT...if you can catch her off guard and snap her in her natural state...well...she just shines. You might be surprised to know that my Mom's natural state DOES often include wearing a champagne glass and feathers on her head...hey we don't just call her Cuckoo because it has a nice ring to it:)
Supplies used: Patterned Paper- American Crafts/ Cardstock- Core'dinations/ Bling- Zva/ Buttons- Jenni Bowlin/ Letter Stickers- Studio Calico
The journaling on this layout came to me AS I was snapping the picture....if only every layout could come together that easily right?
Cheers to getting memories scrapped with little effort...
pictures that pretty much perfectly capture our loved ones personalities....
and to two days of blogging in a row!
2012 rocks already.
