Worktable Wednesday...

Ok I admit it...
I dropped the crafty ball as the days leading up to Christmas unfolded.
There were parties....
and presents to wrap...
and memories to make...
and cookies to bake...
and on and on and on....
I did finish my December Daily to page 16!
I have pics for the rest of the days too...
but my printer is currently out of ink...
not sure I will share them now anyway...
No...it didn't quite go the way I had planned it to go....
but I'm ok with that because we had so much fun in December that I don't even know where to begin to tell you about it.
So....I really don't have much to show you on this fine Wednesday after Christmas...
and not a whole lot to say either....except....

We had a wonderful holiday.
Santa was very good to us.
I miss this place....and chatting with all of you.
AND.....I have cleaned my entire workspace of December's crazy beautiful wonder...
and I am turning the page to 2012! 
I will be back in the New Year and I can't wait to fill those little boxes of potential up above with a whole lot of blog posting! Happy (almost) New Year friends!!

Layouts and a scrappy tip....

It's reveal day over at Citrus Tree Studio...
and so I have a couple of Layouts to share with you today:)
First up...

 I LOVE all of the papers in this months Kit...so naturally I felt the need to squeeze them all onto one layout....can you blame me? They are just so much fun!  
here's a closeup of the journaling...

Most supplies are from the December Citrus Tree Studio Kit. Buttons and green and white letter stickers are from my stash.
Second, I have a little tip. For those of you who keep a blog and are suffering from "scrappers block" be sure to look back through old blog posts for ideas and journaling for new pages. Afterall...our blogs are really just another form of digi scrapping...minus the pretty embellishments...so they can be a great resource on those days when we want to pull out our traditional supplies and get a little messy but just don't know what we want to scrap about:)

I simply copied and pasted the journaling into my works program and printed it out.
This little tabbed card from the December CTS kit was perfect for housing all of my ramblings:)

Most supplies are from the December Citrus Tree Studio Kit. Star patterned ribbon, blue ribbon, and Flexeez toy are from my stash.

December daily days 2 and 3!

Sorry these are going up on the 4th but....
like Ali says you have to live them first:)
Day 2 was all about how much mail we tend to get in December...it probably has nothing to do with my online shopping...ahem....but I will admit that the kids snapped this picture of me after my second trip to the car to carry in packages that had arrived in Fridays mail:)

Day 3-
Yesterday was all about the kids. Each year we set a date for a sibling shopping day. They get to pick the stores that we go to so that they can buy each other a present, they pick the movie that we will see, and they pick where we will have dinner. It is a day just for them and we all love it!

I tucked the journaling under the picture again because...well...I really dislike my handwriting....and I included a couple of movie stubs just for fun:)

Today was all about the start of advent calendars.
We always do advent at our house...
and so I had to dedicate Day One to this tradition...
