My Wednesday was super busy this week....
So...I thought I would share what was on my worktable today instead.
It is cold and a little dreary here in NY.
A perfect day to hide in my studio with the Ipod cranking...
and get a lil' messy with paint.
I have to say it is one of the great joys in my life to be able to spend my time completely alone for a whole day and still make a whole bunch of new friends:)
Yes I am a pretty lucky girl!
This is my favorite new friend....
I am head over heals for the chevron and zig zag patterns that are so popular right now:)
I am the proud new owner of 2 of these pillows...from Etsy of course.
And I have to confess I've been eyeing these as well...
Naturally I felt inspired to incorporate some of that beloved pattern into a few of my paintings.
Of course I couldn't stop at just one....
So.....as a result of my day in the studio....the shop is all stocked up with a bunch of new friends too!
Including a couple of these little girls for a very special cause....
I hope you all had some time to listen to some music, sip your favorite drink, and make a new friend today too:) It is SO good for the soul.

I love those elephant canvases Mel, they are stunning.
